Very good service and great beer garden. The food is unfortunately only standard and could never completely convince me.

Today again enjoyed one of the last sunny days of 2020 in the beer garden. Pizza with it was delicious. Beer tables set up with enough space.

It's not just Italian food. I had Swiss sausage salad and it was delicious. Price / offer: Very good. Very friendly staff.

We had reserved a table in the Ristorante for 8 people and were served very courteously. The waiter was always there when you gave him a sign and in between he kept coming back to the table to ask if everything was okay. To shorten the waiting time for the food, we got warm pizza bread for free, which was very tasty. The food came after a short time, although the restaurant and the beer garden were very well attended. Without exception, everyone was very satisfied with the food. The portions and prices are reasonable. At the end there was a digestive schnapps to choose from on the house. The only negative are the well-worn, narrow steps to the first floor of the Ristorante. All in all, we can recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit it again.

Overall experience insufficient: The service staff in the beer garden was completely overwhelmed and also very unfriendly. When we asked if she could bring us a glass of tap water for the dog so that I could draw something up in the syringe, she said she didn't have time for that, so I ordered a bottle of still water at room temperature so that my dog ​​could get water. The menu is kept very simple. Spagetti with tomato sauce, all simple dishes under disastrous service conditions. I'm not used to such service, so only one star.

A restaurant in a historic half-timbered house with a newly laid out beer garden. The operators try to shake off their "dark" past as a smoking bar (yes there was a (small) non-smoking area, but food and drinks came from the inconsiderate stinkers.). The food consists of German-Swabian cuisine but is nothing special. The strength of the guard house lies in its new beer garden, or better - will be there one day. As soon as the newly planted trees are big enough to provide shade (i.e. in only 10-20 years) this could become "The Beer Garden" in the city center of Kirchheim ...

The guard house has everything to offer, from the shady beer garden to the rustic counter and a well-stocked menu. The food is good. From home-style to Mediterranean cuisine, you can even find great dishes in the beer garden. First downside: In the summer, when it is very busy, many wait staff lack an overview, when the service staff are criticized they deal very quickly with it very unprofessionally and advise you not to come back. For this, and that is great praise, the boss is very good at following up on these problems and takes great care of his guests. The service behind the counter in the guard house, on the other hand, are professionals. You get good advice even when it comes to beer. Friendliness is also a big plus there. Since we are not talking about a gourmet restaurant here, but rather a very good pub with a beer garden and bar, I am giving it 4 stars. And it must be allowed to say that the beverage prices (beer prices) are among the highest in Kirchheim. Recurring activities such as live music or a DJ complete the offer. You can spend a great evening here. If the wallet is a little smaller, only half an evening. Nevertheless, we are talking about a cult location in Kirchheim that should not be left unmentioned. Conclusion: you shouldn't always pass by. Worth it!

A place where you can feel good. The food is good, reasonably priced and there is also live music from time to time which is a great thing. You can sit outside under large umbrellas and there are also opportunities inside. Try it out and see for yourself.
